James Cronin (born 23 November 1990) is an Irish rugby union player for Munster in the Pro14 and European Rugby Champions Cup. He plays as a prop and represents Dolphin in the All-Ireland League.

Cronin scored a try against Leinster in Munster’s 23–34 win on 4 October 2014. Cronin came on in Munster’s first European Rugby Champions Cup game against Sale Sharks on 18 October 2014. Cronin made his debut for Munster A on 8 December 2012, starting against Rotherham Titans in the British and Irish Cup.
