Huia Edmonds, a retired Australian professional rugby union footballer, was born 20 October 1981. Before he was capped for Australia, he played for the Stormers, Waratahs and Brumbies in Super Rugby. Later, he played for Gloucester in England as well as RC Narbonne in France.
The Saracens signed him for the 2011 season. However, he was injured to his shoulder and then broke his foot. Edmonds signed a contract for two years with Gloucester Rugby in England, in 2012. In late 2014, Edmonds moved to France to join the Pro D2 team RC Narbonne. He played there for three seasons.
In 2010, Edmonds made his test debut against Fiji. The Spring Tour saw Edmonds score his maiden test attempt against Wales.

Edmonds was born in Ashburton in New Zealand. He attended Erindale College in Canberra. He was a member of the Australian Schoolboys Team in 1998, and the Australian under-19/under-21 teams in 2000 and 2002.
He was recruited by the NSW Waratahs in 2002 and made his Super 12 debut against Bulls. Edmonds spent many seasons in South Africa playing for Western Province in Super 14 and the Currie Cup. He then returned to Canberra to join ACT Brumbies in 2007.
