In a bid to get an additional NHL deal, Molino agreed to a one-year AHL contract with the reigning champions the Toronto Marlies, on July 5th, 2018. The 2018-19 season was a struggle for Molino. Molino did not get himself a place in the Marlies and played in only 36 games and scoring 4 points. Molino was transferred throughout the season to the ECHL with the affiliate team, that is the Newfoundland Growlers, registering 6 points in 10 games.

As a free agent from the Marlies, Molino opted to continue his career in the ECHL, agreeing to a contract with the Utah Grizzlies on August 5, 2019.

Following his second year playing for the Broncos in 2016-17, Molino ended his collegiate career by signing as a free agent undrafted for the Vancouver Canucks to a two-year entry-level contract on the 28th of March the 28th of March, 2017. Molino immediately joined the Canucks team and made his professional NHL debut just three days later, with defeat by 2-0 against Los Angeles Kings. Molino began playing junior hockey with his Little Caesars hockey program in Michigan. In his youth Molino played in the 2007 and 2006 Quebec International Pee Wee Hockey Tournaments as part of his Little Caesers minor ice hockey team. He was a part of the Brockville Braves in the Central Canada Hockey League and in the Sioux Falls Stampede and Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League before making the decision to pursue a collegiate career at Western Michigan University.

Molino was a player with the Western Michigan Broncos from 2015 until 2017.

In his first full professional season in the 2017–18 season, Molino was assigned to the Canucks AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets. Molino suffered through injury and a lack of form resulting in an unimpressive rookie campaign with 3 goals and 10 points in 46 games. In the off-season Molino was not tendered a qualifying offer by the Canucks and was free to pursue free agency on June 25, 2018.
