The undrafted Rallo was a part of the Texas Stars before he was signed to a one-year deal with the Florida Panthers on July 2 2011. The 2011-12 season was when Rallo made his long-awaited first appearance in the NHL at the age of 30, with a 3-2 overtime victory in the playoffs against Carolina Hurricanes on December 18 the 18th of December, 2011. He was signed to one-year, two-way contract extension on the 1st of July 2012.

Iserlohn ended up being out of playoff competition. On March 3 the 3rd of March, 2017 it was announced Rallo’s contract was not renewed.
