Wong Choong Hann AMN (simplified Chinese: Huang Zong Han Traditional Chinese: Huang Zong Han Pinyin: Huang Zonghan ; born 17 February 1977) is an ex- badminton athlete from Malaysia. He was one of the very first Malaysian to earn an award in the singles men’s event during the BWF World Championships.
Wong Choong Hann married Leaw Pik Sim on the 11th of June 2005. Their daughter known as Kyra Wong Xinyue and one son known as Kayden Wong Zixuan. He is currently within Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. As of September 12, 2012, he founded LavieFlo International which was the first preserver-based flower shop in Malaysia.
In the 2008 Summer Olympics he defeated reigning Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat but once again failed to advance past the round of 16, losing to Hsieh Yu-hsing of Chinese Taipei.
In May 2010, Wong was called back to play for the Malaysian Thomas Cup squad.
Wong played badminton during the 2004 Summer Olympics in the singles for men beating Przemyslaw Wacha from Poland during the opening round. In the 16th round Wong was defeated by Taufik Hidayat from Indonesia.

The career of Wong Choong Hann began in 1996 at the Malaysia Open. The first event he won was in the year 1997, the Dutch Open. He was a representative of Malaysia during 2002 and Malaysia was runners-up to Indonesia at the Thomas Cup championships.
As of 2003 Wong was a finalist in the 2003 World Championships finals. A thrilling, three game contest between the veteran players (both the player and Wong were over 24 at the time in 2003) Wong ultimately lost to the reigning champion in China, Xia Xuanze.
The low point of his career occurred during the 2006 Thomas Cup where he injured himself by snapping an achilles tendon while playing in a quarter final match against South Korea, he was required to rest for almost 6 months. He made a comeback to the sport in the Asian Games later in 2006 but was clearly far from his best form.
