Giovanni Guidetti (born 20 September 1972) is a Italian coaching volleyball player from Italy. He has been coaching Turkish team Vakifbank Spor Kulubu since 2008 as well as coaching the Turkey women’s national team.

Following the signing of Vakifbank, Guidetti just started to create a team will not give up in the game and to improve their game day-by-day. In his debut year, Vakifbank was good in attacking, and had some interesting players like Neslihan Demir Jelena Nikolic, and Angelina Grun but was a bit weak in defense. They won the Turkish league in the top spot, but they lost to Galatasaray in the first round of play-offs. In the 2009-10 season, Vakifbank improved their volleyball quality, however Fenerbahce Acibadem won the league title with a large investment. In the 2010-2011 seasons, Guidetti started to receive an amount of money for his work. Vakifbank Spor Kulubu was the winner of the CEV Women’s Champions League with an impressive winning streak of 12-0, and won the only championship without a loss of Champions League history. They beat the home team and the favorite Fenerbahce Acibadem in the semi-final following a thrilling game of 3-2, and Rabita Baku from Azerbaijan in the final match in straight sets of three sets. However they were beaten in the championship of their domestic league against Fenerbahce Acibadem again. The 2011-2012 season was a huge loss for Guidetti. They were beaten by RC Cannes in quarter finals of the Champions League in golden set. Vakifbank led the gold set 14-11, however Cannes defeated RC Cannes 18-16 in the final against the champions of the past. They lost the Turkish League again to Eczacibasi VitrA.

On September 20, 2013, he married Turkish volleyball player Bahar Toksoy, the middle blocker of Guidetti’s team Vakıfbank and Turkish national team. The couple’s first child was born in September 2016.
