After Fabricio’s loan from Cruzeiro, Geferson was made a regular by Aguirre and played in nine games in the tournament. On May 23, 2015, Geferson was given the Serie A debut, playing all 90 minutes in an away draw that ended in a 1-1 draw in a match against Vasco da Gama.
