McFadden played for his team Ireland A’s from Denver, Colorado in the 2009 Churchill Cup. McFadden had two scores during Ireland’s win over Georgia and also kicked his conversion goal for the second of the scores on June 14, 2009 in Infinity Park. In January of 2011, McFadden was named in the squad that played against Italy on the first weekend of 2011’s Six Nations Championship, where the first time he was awarded his cap.
