He obtained a master’s degree in Digital Media Technologies at Stanford in 2011, taking classes during his off-seasons.

He was then requested by the new coaching team to move to defensive line during his junior season, and then he recorded 39 tackles, which included the 6 tackles for losses as well as 3 sacks during 2008, and also had 37 tackles 7.5 tackles and two sacks during 2007. His NFL prospects status suffered an enormous fall in 2009 when the player was out for most of the season due to an injured pectoral muscle.
