Fahey’s next provincial game came in 2014, when he signed with the George- based team, The SWD Eagles. He was substitute in their loss at the Leopards in Potchefstroom during the 2014 Currie Cup qualification tournament to make his debut in the Currie Cup competition. His first home appearance for the Eagles was in the match against the Falcons just two weeks later and was followed by his debut during the next game in the match against Boland Cavaliers in Wellington. He also made a second start during the tournament with the Border Bulldogs as his side was fourth in the standings and did not qualify for an entry into the Premier Division of the Currie Cup. He played one more game during 2014. Currie Cup First Division, as a bench player with the Falcons.

He was a player in 2012 and was invited by the provincial side based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Province Kings. He made his professional appearance in their 2012. Vodacom Cup 18-28 loss against his former club that was the Sharks XV in Durban. It was his sole appearance with the Kings.
