He was a part of seven games with NWU Pukke in the 2014 Varsity Cup as they reached the finals of the competition which they lost to the UCT Ikey Tigers, and added two more substitute appearances during the 2013 Vodacom Cup. He wasn’t a part of the Leopards in their 2013 Currie Cup qualification campaign, because Griquas defeated the Leopards by one point to qualify on the roster of 2014’s Currie Cup Premier Division, however, he did make five appearances with the Leopards in the 2014 Currie Cup First Division, aiding them in finishing at the top of the league and then losing against the 4th-placed Falcons at the quarter-finals.
The appearance of six players for NWU Pukke in the 2013 Varsity Cup was followed up with his first participation during the Currie Cup competition, coming in as a replacement for the 2012 Currie Cup First Division match against the Pumas in a 20-38 loss in Nelspruit.

After playing for with the Golden Lions at the Under-18 Academy Week tournament In 2008, his team made the move over into the Jukskei River to join the Blue Bulls academy, but only played in two games with Blue Bulls U19 in the Blue Bulls U19 side in the 2010 Provincial Under-19 Championship. He also played in a couple of games with the Falcons U19s during the same event. In 2011, and 2012, He was part of the Leopards U21 team at the Provincial Under-21 Championship.

Another seven appearances for NWU Pukke followed in the 2015 Varsity Cup, with the side emulating their 2014 performance to reach the final of the competition, where they lost to UFS Shimlas. Jordaan then featured in three matches in the 2015 Vodacom Cup, as they qualified for the quarter finals, where they were eliminated by Western Province.
