Chris Sailer is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on January 9, 1977 in Island of Hawai'i, Hawaii, United States. Sailer is the child of Elisabeth Sailer and Hans Sailer, who had moved in 1969 to West Germany to Burbank, California. His parents were avid soccer players but had no idea about football. They introduced the young boy to soccer and he grew into a young soccer player. Sailer was a student at the high school of Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles in which he played both the punter and kicker in Notre Dame High. As as a senior, he established an all- time state record of 22 field goals. He also scored seven field goals from 50 yards or more, which helped his team to win the Division III championship. He was selected to the USA Today All-USA team, and ended his college career with a state record of 33 field goals in his career. He also played as a defensive player.
Following his departure from the school, Sailer signed with the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL) and also played for the Los Angeles Dragons of the Spring Football League and four years in the AFL. While he was still playing, he ran organised camps and offered private coaching to high school punters and kickers. He began Chris Sailer Kicking in 1999 with the intention of taking financial losses on the camps in order to increase his client base, in pursuit of his goal to create the first national camp for specialists in kicking on the secondary school levels. He hosted the initial national camp Las Vegas in 2003, where 125 punters and kickers were in attendance, along with the 30 NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision coaches.
Sailer is on the selection committee for the Chris Sailer Award, presented annually to the top high school placekicker in the nation. The award began in 2011, and is part of the Herbalife National High School Football Awards.
In his senior season in the year 1998 Sailer had a difficult time achieving his goals on the field due to being afflicted throughout the season by an injury to his groin. The injury occurred in practice, when he didn’t get warm before taking part in the kicking contest with an anchorman from the local area.

Chris Sailer (born January 9 1977) is a American football coach and kick specialists. He assists high school placekickers as well as punters, and evaluates their performance for colleges football teams. Sailer was named as an All-American as punter and kicker when he played college football with UCLA Bruins. UCLA Bruins. He was a professional player within the Arena Football League (AFL).
In 1995, as a freshman, Sailer won the job as a punter. He was placed 15th in the nation with the 42.2 yards per yard. Following kicker Bjorn Merten left the team, Sailer assumed the position in 1997 and became one of the few Bruin after Frank Corral in 1977 to take on both kicks and punts. The following season, Sailer made four field goals in a win of 39-31 against Oregon and the 56-yarder that was the school record until Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 60-yarder in the year 2015. Sailer ended the season as the second-best player after Martin Gramatica for the Lou Groza Award, which is given each year to the top college in the country’s kicker. Sailer was selected as a first-team All-American kicker from the American Football Coaches Association and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. In addition the Football Writers Association of America selected Sailer for their inaugural team punter. He is the only person to date in UCLA history to receive first-team All-American recognition at two different positions during the same year.
Sailer’s kicking camp became the most prominent in the country. He is routinely contacted by college coaches to assist in identifying potential college recruits for their special teams. Players which he identifies as top recruits generally receive scholarships from major football programs. Sailer partnered with former UCLA teammate Chris Rubio, who provides services for long snappers as part of Rubio Long Snapping. Greg Biggins of Scout.com described Chris Sailer Kicking as “pretty much a monopoly”. As of 2009, Sailer’s camps were drawing an estimate of 450 to 500 kickers, punter, and long snappers. By 2014, thirteen of the 32 starting kickers in the NFL had attended his camp.
