Carl Hall, a former New Zealand professional rugby league and rugby union player who was born 10 August 1969. He was a representative rugby league (RL), player for Junior Kiwis (New Zealand Schoolboys), as well as club level for Doncaster (three stints; Heritage No. 599), Hull Kingston Rovers Bradford Northern, Leeds Featherstone Rovers, York Wasps and Bradford Northern), and club level rugby union for Moseley (Ru) and Stade Francais (a centre). He is the current chief executive officer (CEO), of Doncaster (RL), after the club was sold to the Doncaster Rovers ownership structure (association football). This was part of the “Club Doncaster” vision.

Hall formed a group of Doncaster businessmen to run the club and make sure it was financially secure. This was in 2009 after Shane Miller’s and Craig Harrison’s departures. Hall sold the club to Club Doncaster in 2013, after the club was promoted back to the Championship, which is the second-tier of Rugby Football League. After the sale, Hall was named CEO of the club and has remained there ever since.

He spent another post-season in rugby union, this one with Stade Francais. He returned to Doncaster and scored tries in 56 games. Before retiring from rugby, he spent 2001-02 at the York Wasps.

Hall, a New Zealand youth international, first appeared on the Junior Kiwis tour to the United Kingdom in 1987 as a centre or wingser. He eventually made over 250 appearances for various clubs.
