Wally Swift Jr (born 17 February 1966) is a British former boxer who was the British middleweight light champion from 1991 and 1992. He also was a contender for the European title.
In September 1993, he took on in September 1993 for an opportunity to defend the Midland Area title, which was won by Steve Goodwin; Goodwin stopped his opponent at the 7th round. The two fought once more on May 24, 1994. but this time with Swift making a decision on points in what would ultimately be his last fight.
In April 1992, he traveled to France to take on Jean-Claude Fontana’s EBU European title, losing by a majority decision. In September 1992, he staged his second attempt to defend the British title in a match against Till Swift, who lost narrowly in terms of points. The two were again matched to decide this title on April 23, 1993. but this time, Till taking out Swift in the fourth round.

born from Nottingham, Wally Swift Jr is the son of former boxer Wally Swift and brother of Tony Swift, also a boxer. The first time he made it to the professional ranks was in the month of September, 1985 and was undefeated throughout his first 11 bouts. He was defeated for the first time in January 1987, when was defeated by the scoreboard in a fight with Dave Dent. In the time from 1987 until 1989, he defeated 8 times and won 7times, defeating John Ashton, Chris Blake, Alfonso Redondo, and Anibal Miranda, as well as being defeated by Ashton, Terry Magee, Andy Till, and Ensley Bingham.
In April of 1990, he defeated Shaun Cummins to become BBBofC Midland Light Middleweight champion in the Midland region winning his title on January of 1991 with Paul Wesley. It was the catalyst for a bout against Bingham to win an unclaimed British title two months later. Swift beat Bingham during the 4th round, becoming British champion. A few months later, he had a an impressive first defense to Tony Collins.
