Tsetska Tsacheva is one of the most popular and richest Jurist- Consultant who was born on May 24, 1958 in Dragana, Lovech Province, Bulgaria. Tsetska Tsacheva Dangovska (Bulgarian: Tsetska Tsacheva Dangovska born on May 24, 1958) is a Bulgarian GERB politician and jurist. She served as the Secretary of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria from 4 May 2017 until April 5 2019. She previously held the office as Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria on two occasions. Tsetska Tsacheva has been the only woman to preside over in the National Assembly of Bulgaria since it was established in 1878.

In 2009’s Bulgarian elections for the Bulgarian parliament, Tsacheva headed GERB’s voting list for Pleven Province and was also the party’s proportional nominee for the constituency. She was the winner of the proportional election within Pleven Province with 36.92% which is 54,880 votes. Following her party’s decisive electoral win, she won elected as the GERB’s candidate for the post of Chairwoman of Bulgaria’s National Assembly of Bulgaria and was unanimously elected to this post with 227 votes out of 240, and there were not a single vote against.

An active participant in the Pleven Bar Association and the Pleven Bar Association, she was a lawyer who became a head of the legal department for Pleven Municipality during seven months until 2007.

Tsacheva was raised in Dragana in the Ugarchin Municipality, Lovech Province. She completed her studies at the Pleven High School of Mathematics in 1976. She received her law degree from Sofia University.

Prior to the changes in the system of democracy that took place during 1989 Tsacheva had been a part of the Bulgarian Communist Party, though she resigned shortly after the dissolution of People’s Republic of Bulgaria. She was a member of to the Pleven Municipal Council as a member of Boyko Borisov’s political party GERB. Tsacheva was GERB’s nominee for the mayorship in Pleven 2007 however, she was not a finalist when Nayden Zelenogorski, a member of the Union of the Democratic Forces got his third term elected at the beginning of his term. Tsacheva was also in the same race as party’s Bulgarian Socialist’s Vasil Antonov at the time of that election.

Tsacheva was nominated to be her party’s candidate for the 2016 Presidential election. Plamen Manushev was chosen to be the vice-presidential candidate. She lost the run-off to Rumen Radev, former air force commander. As a reaction, prime minister Boyko Borisov resigned.
