In the first round of 2019’s NRL season Mikaele was able to make the NRL debut against Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on Leichhardt Oval. He played 23 games during the season, and only missed one game in the first grade. He was then signed by the Tigers until the conclusion in 2021’s season. The season began from an empty bench spot, the player ended playing in the first team as prop.
