Simon Christopher Joseph Fraser, 16th Lord Lovat and 5th Baron Lovat (born 13 February 1977) is the head of Clan Fraser of Lovat since the passing of his grandfather in 1995.
While in Harrow and Harrow, he was given his title as Lord Lovat upon the demise of his great-grandfather in the year 1995. He was the son of Simon (then the Master of Lovat and the heir of the title) was killed in the year prior while riding on a hunt in his family’s Beaufort estate. He had run many debts and to pay them, and also to pay inheritance tax the son was required to offer for sale Beaufort Castle.
He married Petra Palumbo on 14 May 2016, at St Stephen Walbrook, a church in London. She is the daughter of Peter Palumbo, Baron Palumbo.
