Stephanie was the first to debut for Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) on October 3, 2009 with a loss against Amber O’Neal. After losing against Cindy Rogers and Angelina Love she was unable to take on Brittney Savage to win her place in the WSU Spirit Championship on November 6 in 2010. She won her first title at WSU in the following event where she defeated Brittnay Force. After a tag-team match in which Stephanie Savage and Savage were on opposing side, Stephanie defeated Savage to take home the WSU Spirit Championship on March 5th, 2011, with the assistance of Ivory. She was a participant at the J-Cup Tournament, defeating Jennifer Cruz and Jamilia Craft in the finals, but fell to Savage. She also took part for the NWS/WSU WSU Queen as well as King of the Ring tournament but she as well as J.D. Smooth lost in the opening round. In the following months, she was able to successfully defend her Spirit Championship against Rain and O’Neal. At WSU’s Queen and King Tournament pay- per-view, Stephie and Kay retained the championship against Marti Belle and Lexxus. On February 8, 2014, Stephie and Kay lost the WSU Tag Team Championship to Kimber Lee and Annie Social, when Havok, who was substituting for Kay, attacked Stephie during the match. In May, Stephie joined forces with DJ Hyde to enter the King and Queen of the King tournament, but were eliminated in the first round by Shanna and Chris Dickinson. In November, Stephie announced she had become part of WSU management, and introduced an assistant, Amanda Rodriguez. The pair, along with Mademoiselle Rachelle, later attacked WSU Champion LuFisto.
Stephie has played for a variety of independents within the Midwest. She made her debut as a member of Ladysports located in Tennessee. Between 2008 and 2009 she was a part of a few events with Ring of Honor, including the Ring of Honor Wrestling television taped on March 1st, 2009. She has also wrestled with Chikara in Philadelphia and also she made her international debut in 2010 working for various events within and around the United Kingdom. Stephie took part in the very first Jersey All Pro Wrestling Women’s Division show in January 2009, but she fell to Roxie Cotton. Sager was announcing ring at the local professional wrestling organization in Ohio in 2005. The start date was with the announcement of the announcer being absent in August 2005. When Sager was DJ in a bowling alley and was offered the chance to announce the event and was appointed the regular announcer. Then she began training at Jeff Cannon’s college. She made her professional debut in wrestling with Ohio Championship Wrestling (OCW) in March 2007 in conjunction with the promotion’s inaugural Ladies Night, and returned for Ladies Night Out 2 in March 2008.
Stephie made her debut on Shimmer Women Athletes in October 19, 2008, but lost her match to Rachel Summerlyn on Sparkle (Shimmer’s pre-show). In May 2009, she returned to Sparkle as a team together with Kimberly Kash to lose to Summerlyn and Rayna Von Tash and then losing to Kash in singles matches. She won her first title in November when she teamed up together with Kacey Diamond to beat Kash along with Leva. Kacey Diamond together with Diamond were up against Nevaeh as well as Ashley Lane at the Volume 28 taping but lost. She was back to Shimmer for the following tapings in April, and 11, 2010 and lost the battle to Madison Eagles and Jessie McKay. Upon debuting for Shine Wrestling in 2013, Stephie quickly formed an alliance with Jessie Belle Smothers, called Southern n’ Sass. They feuded with The American Sweethearts (Santana and Amber O’Neal, and defeated them at Shine 15 to force the team to disband. The duo entered a tournament to determine the inaugural Shine Tag Team Champions; they defeated Mseerie (Christina Von Eerie and MsChif) to advance to the semi-finals, but lost to The Lucha Sisters (Leva Bates and Mia Yim). In March 2014, Stephie and Smothers were part of a four- way tag team match to determine the number one contenders to the Shine Tag Team Championship; the match was won by Legendary (Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine).
