Sajjad Shahbazzadeh is one of the most popular and richest Iranian footballer who was born on January 23, 1990 in Ardabil, Ardabil Province, Iran. Sajjad Shahbazzadeh (Persian name: sjd shbzzdh born on 23 January, 1990) is an Iranian professional footballer who is striker for the Persian Gulf Pro League team Sepahan.

On the 22nd of July, 2016, he was officially enrolled in the club that was recently promoted to Turkish Super Lig. On the 20th of August, he began his first game in a defeat of 4-1 to Besiktas J.K. entering as an alternative to Jonathan Ayite. On the 26th of August, he played his first game in the league against Antalyaspor that Alanyaspor defeated by a score of 2-1. In his second game with the club on December 25 of 2016 when he made his debut goal in a match against Turkish titans Galatasaray.

On 10 July 2017 during Esteghlal’s pre-season, he played in a friendly against Pars Jonoubi Jam which he managed to score. He played his first official league match on 28 June 2017, in Esteghlal’s opening match of the season, which they lost 1–0 against Sanat Naft. On 17 August 2017, Shahbazzadeh suffered a knee injury in a 1–0 defeat against Saipa. He returned in action against Foolad on 13 October. Due to consecutive injuries, fell behind fellow striker Ali Ghorbani and new Esteghlal coach Winfried Schäfer asked him to search for a new club for the rest of 2017–18 season. On 14 January 2018, he officially terminated his contract with the club.

After failing to return to Esteghlal due to the club’s transfer ban, Shahbazzadeh joined Naft tehran during winter transfers. He scored Naft’s winning goal against Tractor Sazi in Hazfi cup’s final in May 2017.

He joined Esteghlal in the summer of 2014. The club made him debut Esteghlal with a 2-1 win against Rah Ahan. It was his first strike for the team, scoring the goal that won the match in the match against Esteghlal Khuzestan. He played in his initial Tehran derby on November 23rd in a 2-1 loss, where was the only goal scored by Esteghlal during the match. On the 4th of February, the club played his old team Saipa with the sole goal of the game. The first season he played playing for Esteghlal having scored 12 goals for the league, which earned him the second place in the league’s Golden Boot, behind Eder Luciano.
