Rory Glaves, born January 13, 1982 in Niagara Falls (Ontario), is a former professional player in lacrosse. Glaves was a player for the Anaheim Storm and Edmonton Rush, as well as the Rochester Knighthawks in the National Lacrosse League between 2005 and 2013. Glaves played college lacrosse at the University of Hartford for two years. Glaves won two Minto Cup titles with St. Catharines Athletics (2001 and 2003) as well as one Mann Cup championship with Victoria Shamrocks (2006).

Glaves was an Anaheim player in every game. Glaves was once again placed in a dispersal draft on July 20, 2005 after the Storm collapsed. The Edmonton Rush selected Glaves as the first overall pick. Glaves was the Rush’s first NLL player in 2006, and he played his first season with them in 2007.

Glaves started his junior hockey career in 1998 with the Jr.B Niagara Falls Canucks and led the Canucks’ second Sutherland Cup title in three years. The Toronto St. Michael’s Majors drafted him 160th in the 1999 Ontario Hockey League Priority Draft. Glaves only played six games with Majors before he returned to the Canucks.
