Rohene Andre, born June 28, 1983, is an American figure-skating competitor. He was a four-time U.S. Champion figure skater, competing in the 2002, 2006, and 2008 events. He was also a Puerto Rican champion in 2004.
Ward is also a choreographer and has worked with many skaters such as Courtney Hicks (Jordan Moeller), Mariah Bell, and Jason Brown. His choreography was praised when Brown’s lengthy program “Riverdance”, (“Reel Around the Sun”) by Bill Whelan became an internet sensation and received over five million YouTube views following the 2014 US Championships. Ward was named “Choreographer-of-the Year” at 2015 PSA conference, Bloomington, Minnesota. In 2017, he won the title again in Nashville, Tennessee. Ward also choreographed opening ceremonies for the 2016 U.S. Championships.
Ward was Aladdin during Holiday on Ice’s 2010-11 ice-show season. From 2011 to 2013, he was asked to be a principal skimmer in the HOI shows Speed and Speed II. He toured parts of Europe, from Norway to the Netherlands. He was a principal in “Platinum”, a new HOI production in France and Germany, during the 2013-14 season.

Ward graduated from North Community High School in 2001. He began coaching with Kori Ade, Highland Park, Illinois in 2007. Ward and Ade moved from Highland Park, Illinois to Monument, Colorado in spring 2013. 7K Skating Academy will be expanded. Jason Brown, the 2015 U.S. men’s national champion and a two-time World Junior medalist as well as a bronze medalist in the 2014 Olympic team event, are among their top students.
Page Lipe was Ward’s coach in Minneapolis for 18-years. He and Lipe co-coach Kirsten Olson, who played the role as Nikki Fletcher (the ‘Jumping Shrimp’) in the Disney movie Ice Princess (2006). Ward participated (junior men’s) in the US Championships 2008 in St Paul, Minnesota. He also coached Olson (junior women) – an achievement that was unmatched in figure skating.
