Rama Salim is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on March 20, 1993 in Mombasa, Kenya. Ramadhan Mohammed Salim, a Kenyan footballer, was born 20 March 1993 in Mombasa. He plays for Slovakia’s Third Division side MFK Topolcany as well as the Kenyan national team as a striker and attacking midfielder.

Salim was expelled by the club on 20 September 2013 for gross misconduct. This followed a fight between Salim and a teammate following a hard tackle.

On 17 August 2014, it was announced that Salim joined Tanzanian club Coastal Union on a two-year contract. He scored a brace in his first match for the club on 5 September 2014, helping his side to a massive 10–0 friendly win over Zanzibar club Falcons. On 21 September, Salim scored again in his competitive debut for the club, netting in the 81st minute to rescue a point in the club’s first league match of the season against Simba.

On 20 February 2014, Salim made his return to the Kenyan Premier League against the Nairobi City Stars, coming off the bench in the 66th minute for Jared Obwoge to help his side win the match 2–0.

Salim joined K’Ogalo in 2012 and made his debut at the club against Al- Merrikh, a Sudanese team. The match was played at the Nyayo National Stadium. On 12 February 2012, Salim made his league debut against Thika United. He replaced Dan Makori in the 79th minutes to lead his team to a 2-0 victory. The final day of the season saw Gor Mahia held to a 1-1 draw at Thika United’s Nairobi City Stadium. They needed to win the title. Salim was a headliner when he sat on the pitch and wept bitterly after the match. He did however help the side win the preseason edition of 2013 Kenyan Super Cup.

Salim was called up to the Kenyan national team for the LG Cup match against Sudan, on 20 June 2011. Salim was also part the team that placed second in the 2012 CECAFA Cup in Uganda. He was on the pitch in the 49th minute of the final for Clifton Miheso, but couldn’t stop his team from losing 2-1 to the hosts.

On 11 August 2013, Salim left Kenya for Qatar to sign a season-long loan deal with Qatargas League side Al-Markhiya until June 2014, when he will then move to Qatari Stars League club Al-Gharafa, for a reported Ksh. 5.2 million (approx. US$59,700, £35,500 or €43,400). It was also reported that the deal would earn Salim US$240,000 a season (or US$20,000 a month).
