Princesa Blanca is one of the most popular and richest Professional Wrestler who was born on August 26, 1974 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Rodriguez was born in Mexico on August 26, 1974. Rodriguez was raised by her parents in Lucha libre, a show that showcases professional wrestling. She fell in love with Lucha Libre and became a professional wrestler. Lola Gonzales, a pioneer in Mexican female wrestling, was Lola’s role model. Jorge Luis Casas Ruiz is better known as El Felino, and she was able to meet him during her training to be a Luchadora (female wrestling champion) or her early years of competitive wrestling. She became the stepmother to two sons, who now wrestle under the ring name Puma King (from Casas’ first marriage). She was a part the Casas wrestling family that includes her brothers-in law Jose Casas Erick Casas (better know as “Heavy Metal”), and a third Casas brother, Pepe “Tropi”, a former wrestler and referee, and sister-in-law of Luchadora dalys la Caribena (wife to Negro Casas). She is also related to Delta, a wrestler who is married to one Negro Casas daughter.

Princesa Blanca quit AAA to become a regular competitor in CMLL. She competed in a tournament to crown a Mexican National Women’s Champion. The previous champion Lady Apache had vacated the title after she won the CMLL World Women’s Championship. Princesa Blanca was among 14 women who participated in a torneo cibernetico. Blanca Rodriguez, a Mexican retired Lucha Libre (or female professional wrestler) was born August 26, 1974. Her most notable work is as a ruda (“bad guy”) wrestler for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), a Mexican professional wrestling organization. For 1,793 days she held the Mexican National Women’s Championship. This was the longest individual reign. Blanca is married El Felino, making them part of the extended Casas wrestling family. She is also the stepmother to Tiger and Puma, who all work for CMLL.

Rodriguez was trained by a variety of coaches, including Rudo Valentino and Jose Feliciano, to become a professional wrestler. Later, she received additional training at the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre’s (CMLL) trainers Tony Salazar, Franco Columbo and Ultimo Guerrero. In 1993, she made her professional wrestling debut as a tecnica (or “face”) (the term used in wrestling to describe someone who portrays “good guy” characters). She was known by the ring name “Princess Blanca” (Princess Blanca). Rodriguez didn’t start her career in a mask, unlike most Mexican wrestlers. Rodriguez began her career with the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA). She actually had a few matches against her idol Lola Gonzales. She remained with UWA until 1995 when the UWA shut down. Princesa Blanca worked in Mexico for several wrestling promotions during the years after UWA closed down. She participated in a tournament to determine the TWF World Women’s Championship, which was co- promoted jointly by CMLL (JDStar) and Japanese promotion JDStar. She lost the first round to Chikako Shiratori, a Japanese wrestler. However, she made contact with the Japanese promotion and was invited on a JDStar tour in 1996. She returned from Japan and worked occasionally for CMLL, as the promotion didn’t promote women’s wrestling during the period 1996-1999.

In early 2009 Princesa Blanca turned ruda (“bad guy”) as she joined her husband and brother-in-law’s group La Peste Negra (“The Black Plague”). Weeks after her turn she defeated Marcela to win the Mexican National Women’s Championship, her first wrestling championship ever. Less than a month later Princesa Blanca was one of eleven women who risked their mask or their hair on the outcome of a steel cage match. In the end Princesa Blanca defeated Madusa to unmask her in a match that also included Lady Apache, Hiroka, La Nazi, Mima Shimoda, La Amapola, Sahori, Dark Angel, Goddess, and Marcela. Over the years Princesa Blanca developed a professional relationship with Princesa Sujei and Hiroka, creating a group known as Las Zorras (“The Foxes”) and when Hiroka retired the two Princesas became known as Las Ladies de Polanco, “the ladies of Polanco”, an affluent neighborhood in Mexico City. In 2010 Princesa Blanca developed a long running rivalry with Luna Mágica, building the storyline to the point where the two agreed to wager their hair on the outcome of a Luchas de Apuestas (Bet match) between the two. The two met on October 17, 2010, in Arena Mexico where Princesa Blanca defeated Luna Mágica, who was shaved completely bald after loss to Princesa Blanca. CMLL held an Infierno en el Ring match on June 29, 2012, which was a steel cage match where the loser of the match would be forced to either unmask or have their hair shaved off. Princesa Blanca and Goya Kong were the last two competitors in a match that also included La Amapola, Estrellita, Dark Angel, Lady Apache, Tiffany, Marcela, La Seductora and Dalys la Caribeña. Princesa Blanca pinned Goya Kong, forcing her to unmask after the match and announce her real name, Gloria Alvarado Nava, daughter of wrestler Brazo de Plata. On November 26, 2012, Blanca lost the Mexican National Women’s Championship to Estrellita, ending her reign at 1,397 days, the longst individual reign of any women’s champion. On August 1, 2014, at El Juicio Final, Princesa Blanca and La Seductora were defeated by Marcela and Princesa Sugehit in a double Lucha de Apuestas; as a result Blanca was forced to have her head shaved. Post-match, she also announced her retirement from professional wrestling.
