Paulo Carcasci is one of the most popular and richest Brazilian racing driver who was born on January 7, 1964 in São Paulo, Brazil. Carcasci began the auto-racing career of Carcassi in Europe through the Formula Ford 1600 in 1985. In a work-entry Van Diemen RF85, the Brazilian took home wins in Cadwell Park, Castle Combe as well as Brands Hatch. Carcasci took his first race in the EFDA Formula Ford Euroseries final race at Circuit Zolder. Carcasci won over the future Formula 1 drivers Bertrand Gachot, Roland Ratzenberger and Damon Hill. In 1985’s Formula Ford Festival Carcasci qualified in the pole in the race’s final lap, but his time was not enough to win. In 1986, Carcasci was at work with the Team Duckhams Van Diemen team and was then promoted to the British Formula Ford 2000 championship. While Gachot was the winner of the championship, Carcasci took home wins in Thruxton, Snetterton and Castle Combe.
In 1996, Carcasci only participated in an Indy Lights outing at Long Beach to support The Grand Prix of Long Beach. After starting 12th the car’s clutch malfunctioned, making it impossible for Carcasci from finishing. Carcasci also took part for the Mexican Formula Three Championship in 1996.
In 2001 Carcasci joined One Sports Management, a racing drivers management firm. Carcasci has managed drivers such as Antônio Pizzonia, Luciano Burti and Lucas di Grassi. Carcasci was the head of the talent selection board of Petrobras. Carcasci coached drivers racing in the Super Kart Brasil series until 2015. Carcasci was responsible for the agreement between Petrobras and Koiranen GP to run young Brazilian drivers. In 2015 Carcasci joined Draco Racing as a driver coach and the Brazilian managed André Negrão.
In the year 1990, Carcasci was a part of Jason Plato at Manor Motorsport in the British Formula Renault Championship. Carcasci was, once more in the Van Diemen Van Diemen team, finished as third in the championship, just behind Thomas Erdos. In 1991, Carcasci relocated to Japan to compete for the All- Japan Formula Three Championship for the factory Toyota team TOM’S. In the very first TOM’S-designed automobile, called 031F, designed by Andrew Thorby, Carcasci won four races. In the race of 1991, Macau Grand Prix the Brazilian driver was eleventh. Carcasci als debuted in the All-Japan F3000 Championship. In the Lola T90/50 Carcasci got four points. In 1992, Paulo Carcasci won the second race of the season at Fuji Speedway in a Reynard 92D. Carcasci continued to be a third year racing in the championship in 1993. Third spot on the Mine Circuit is his highest finish to date.

Paulo Carcasci (born 7 January 1964 in Sao Paulo) is a former Brazilian racer. Carcasci took home in 1985 the European FF 1600 Championship , 1988 BBC FF2000 Championship, 1991 All-Japan Formula Three Championship and the Gold Cup in Formula 3000.
In 1988, Carcasci returned to British Formula 3 racing tracks. He was a Brazilian driver who Sao Paulo, Brazil, competed in 5 races on Formula 3 British Formula 3. The Brazilian driver did not have any notable results with the aging Alfa Romeo powered Reynard 883. In 1989, Carcasci participated in a variety of Formula Opel Lotus championships achieving seventh spot at the Euro Series championship. For the British Formula 3000 championship Carcasci took part in three races. at Donington Park the driver finished fourth overall for Madgwick. The race was held at Oulton Park, and Brands Hatch Carcasci was entered by Cobra Motorsport. Carcasci took home the Gold Cup at Oulton Park beating Gary Brabham. In the final stages of the 1989 season, Carcasci received an invitation from Formula 1 team Life Racing Engines to race the team’s Life F190. Carcasci refused the invite since the car was not competitive.
After driver/manager Tim Spouge formed SS Sports to race in the British F3 Carcasci joined the company in 1998. Carcasci was the chief engineer for Spouge and Doug Bell in 1999. The team’s best result was a fourth place for Spouge at Croft Circuit in 1999. The team was dissolved at the end of the season.
