Barbara Conway is one of the most popular and richest Journalist who was born on January 30, 1952 in London, England, United Kingdom. Barbara Anne Conway (30 January 1952 5 May, 1991) was an British financial journalist, author , and broadcaster.

In 1986, Conway was hired as the head of information for the newly formed Securities and Investment Board. But after a brief time “her duties did not prove as fulfilling as journalistic investigation” in 1988. In the meantime, she joined the newly established business and economics section of the BBC and in this capacity she hosted numerous broadcasts. Also, she worked as an independent journalist as well as editor for the first pioneering Information provider Network Micronet 800. (see illustration, right).

In this time, the financiers she investigated were Asil Nadir Tiny Rowland, and Sir James Goldsmith, whom she was so angry that he stated that he would like to “choke on her own vomit”. Goldsmith expressed her displeasure to City editor of The Telegraph about the fact that Conway had been motivated by anti- Semitism, however the criticism was erroneous since Conway herself is Jewish. Her professionalism was rewarded when she won the “Young Financial Journalist Award from the Wincott Foundation.

Conway was born in London was educated in the Henrietta Barnett School and (briefly) at Barnet College, Conway worked briefly at in the Jerusalem Post but began her British journalism career with the weekly magazine of finance, Investors Guardian. From 1973 until 1977, she published an investigative column under the title “Cheapside” for the Investors Chronicle “dedicated to exposing the darker aspects of public company’s business the column was equally loved by the readers, as well as not with the targets. A definite delight to watch people who are committing crimes squirming was coupled with a fervent conviction that shareholders’ rights are protected”. The largest claim of this kind in Lloyds’s history at that time. Her knowledge on the subject was so impressive that Lloyds then asked her for a thorough publication on the subject.
