Patrick David “Pat” Jablonski (born 20 June 1967, in Toledo, Ohio) is an American professional goalie for ice hockey. In the years 1989-98 the team he played for was five within the National Hockey League: the St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, Montreal Canadiens, Phoenix Coyotes and Carolina Hurricanes.
Jablonski has never played for Jablonski never played in NHL for Toronto and was a part-time player in the lockout-shortened 1994-1995 season with their team’s farm teams that was based in St. John’s and the Chicago Wolves and Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League. He was recalled with the Blues as an independent player at the end of the season of 1995 however, he only played one game in St. Louis before being transferred with Montreal’s Montreal Canadiens in November.
Jablonski was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes in January 1997. In Phoenix, Jablonski saw little playing time, only playing two games as a replacement for Nikolai Khabibulin. He signed as a free agent with Carolina in August 1997, and played five games in the 1997–98 season for the Hurricanes, with most of the rest of the season spent with the IHL’s Cleveland Lumberjacks.
Jablonski never played in the NHL again. He played the 1998–99 season with the Chicago Wolves of the IHL, followed by two seasons for Västra Frölunda HC in Sweden.
Jablonski was transferred with the new Tampa Bay Lightning in June 1992. He was then chosen as the goalie in the team’s starting lineup for the team’s debut season 1992-93. Jablonski appeared in 42 games during in the season, including his sole career NHL shutout, in the game against Ottawa Senators in November. He played 15 games with the Lightning in 1993-94 , before being transferred with Toronto’s Toronto Maple Leafs in February 1994.

Jablonski was a in junior hockey with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League was selected in the St. Louis 139th overall in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. After three seasons with the Blues farm team known as named the Peoria Rivermen Jablonski received a call-up to the NHL at the beginning of the 1989-90 hockey season. He played in four games with the Blues and lost the four games.
He was back in Peoria in February of 1991, after which he took over for injury-stricken Curtis Joseph. Jablonski was a goalie with Vincent Riendeau for the remainder of the regular season and also for three games of playoffs with his team, the Minnesota North Stars. He remained an alternate to St. Louis during his 1991-1992 campaign.
After Patrick Roy was traded to the Colorado Avalanche that December, Jablonski shared goaltending duties with Jocelyn Thibault for the remainder of 1995–96 and into the beginning of the 1996–97 season.
