Paki Afu is one of the most popular and richest Rugby League Player who was born on September 7, 1990 in Auckland, Auckland Region, New Zealand. Pakisonasi Afu (born 7 September 1990) is a professional footballer who has played for Tonga in rugby league , and Tonga A in the rugby union. He has signed a contract with Austin Elite Rugby to play Major League Rugby in the United States. Afu has previously played in the league at the NSW Cup for New Zealand Warriors and Wyong Roos as a prop. The position he plays in the union rugby is center.

He was in 2014 when he was back in 2014 to New Zealand and the Otahuhu Leopards played at the Auckland Rugby League competition. In 2015, following his move into Point Chevalier Pirates Point Chevalier Pirates, he was selected to play for Auckland and also in The New Zealand Warriors in the NSW Cup. In the following year, He was signed by Sydney Roosters.

Afu switched codes to rugby union in 2017, representing Tonga A in the Pacific Challenge tournament where he scored two tries against Junior Japan, and in the Americas Pacific Challenge, scoring two tries against Canada A.

He signed with Austin Elite Rugby to play in the 2018 inaugural season of Major League Rugby in the United States.

He was signed by his club the Parramatta Eels for 2011 and played for the Wentworthville Magpies in the Bundaberg Red Cup. After this, Afu went on a Mormon mission to the Philippines.
