Omari Ahmed Clement Banks (born 17 July 1982) is an Anguillan musician and former cricketer who played at 10 test matches in the West Indies, as well as domestic matches in Anguilla and the Leeward Islands. In the year 2011, Banks began to pursue his professional musical career and has been less active playing cricket in the region, and officially was retired from cricket on the 31st of January 2012.

On July 9, 2009, the player was banned for 12 consecutive days, by an England and Wales Cricket Board disciplinary panel for ball tampering. He has been found guilty for putting his thumb and fingernails on the ball during Somerset’s second XI game in the match against Essex at Vale the 1st of July, 2009. Somerset removed the all-rounder following the end to the season and Brian Rose stating “He hasn’t had the performances to justify another contract.”

Banks was a player in The Leeward islands from the year 2000 until 2011. The 2001 season was the last time Banks was a player at Leicester. Later, he was a player for Carnforth Cricket Club, in the summer of 2006, in Northern Premier League. He scored 54.6 using the bat and took 27 wickets in an infrequent time at the Lancashire club.
