The year 2012 was the first time Driesse received a call for her place on the United States U18 team . She was a participant in numerous training camps as part of and the United States U20 team. In the autumn in her senior year Wayne Hills High School she signed with the North Carolina Tar Heel. As a senior, she refused to sign a letter of Intent, and then decided to sign to go to Florida State University. Driesse was a Seminole for two seasons in Florida. In 2013 she was the sole Seminole freshman to be a part of all 28 games during the entire season (starting at 27). The team also managed to reach the finals in the 2013 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament in which they ultimately losing in the finals, to UCLA. UCLA Bruins. As a result of her performances in this season, she was awarded many awards which included being named to an All- ACC Freshman Team as well as Soccer America All-Freshman Freshman First Team, ACC All-Academic Team and TopDrawerSoccer.com Freshmen Best Second Team. In the following year, she was an junior, Driesse saw her time playing the field cut in half. She was only able to play in six matches during the season, as her team won victory in the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament. Shethen made the decision to transfer. At the beginning of 2015 frustrated with her lack of playing time and her shrewd situation in the playing field (she was playing as a holding midfielder which is her preferred position in the attacking position) she decided to trade the Seminoles to the Nittany Lions.
