Murray Lee Jones, born 7 October 1964, is an English former professional football forward, coach, and manager. He played in the Football League for Grimsby Town (EXE), Brentford, Brentford, and Doncaster Rovers. He is the current U16 coach at Millwall.
Jones signed for Bristol City in August 1990, and he moved to the Second Division. Jones failed to make his first team appearance at Ashton Gate, and he left the club in January 1991.
Jones moved to join Third Division club Exeter City for a £30,000 fee in January 1991 and scored three goals in 20 league appearances before departing at the end of the 1990–91 season.
Jones signed for newly-promoted First Division club Brentford in a £75,000 deal in July 1992, as a replacement for the departed Dean Holdsworth. He struggled to hold down a place in the team and failed to score in 20 appearances before his contract was cancelled after the Bees’ relegation back to the Second Division was confirmed at the end of the 1992–93 season. Jones’ failure to replace Dean Holdsworth’s goals in Brentford’s only season in the second tier between 1954 and 2013 has seen him named as the club’s worst-ever signing.
Jones was loaned to the Fourth Division club Doncaster Rovers in October 1990. He made five appearances during that time.

Jones started his career in the youth system at Football League clubs Southampton & Luton Town. He was then offered an apprenticeship at Fourth Division club Southend United. Jones signed a professional contract before the 1982-83 season began, but was not allowed to make his first team debut. Jones played non-league football for Welling United and Epsom & Ewell before moving to Carshalton Athletic. He scored 52 goals in 108 games for Carshalton Athletic.
Jones joined Crystal Palace, First Division club in October 1989 but did not make it to the final game of the 1989-90 season.
Jones impressed newly-promoted Second Division Division club Grimsby Town sufficiently for the Mariners to pay £50,000 for his services in July 1991. Jones failed to deliver, scoring only three goals in 28 league appearances during the 1991–92 season.
