Govedarica signed a 2-year contract with HSK Zirinski Mostar on 11 June 2019. On 11 July 2019, he made his official debut for Zrinski and scored his first goal against Akademija Pandev. This was in the 2019-20 UEFA Europa League qualifying round. Govedarica was Zrinski’s first league player on 21 July 2019 in a 1-0 home loss against FK Sarajevo. His first league goal for Zrinski was scored on 24 August 2019 against FK Borac Banja Luka.
Govedarica’s outstanding start to the 2014-15 Bosnian Premier League season earned him a call by Vlado Jagodic, the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina 21 national team. He invited Govedarica to make his debut for the team on 8 September 2014.

Born in Sarajevo in 1964, Govedarica played with FK Slavija and then signed with FK Donji Srem in Serbia. He was a part of the 2013-14 Serbian SuperLiga. He returned to Slavija after one season in Serbia.
He made 2 appearances in the national team’s 2014-2016 season.
In 2015 he left Slavija for FK Sloboda Tuzla. After Sloboda he also played for FK Olimpik Sarajevo, Slavija again and most recently FK Zvijezda 09, who he joined in January 2018. Govedarica won the First League of the Republika Srpska in the 2017–18 season and got promoted to the Bosnian Premier League with Zvijezda 09. He left the club after his contract expired on 29 May 2019.
