Michael Bryant Eagles, a former professional ice hockey player who was born March 7, 1963 in Sussex (New Brunswick), is currently the Athletic Director of St. Thomas University in Fredericton. He played 16 seasons in National Hockey League. He is currently the athletic director of St. Thomas University, Fredericton (New Brunswick).
He was appointed head coach of the St. Thomas University Tommies at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport conference in 2002. He led the Tommies in their first year to a league championship and was named CIS coach the year. He became St Thomas’s Athletic Director in 2011, after he had left his coaching job.
Team Canada’s 1983 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships saw Eagles make their international debut. He was a team member and won a bronze medal.

He played 853 NHL games and scored 74 goals and 122 assists, for 196 points. Eagles was a member of the Quebec Nordiques (1982-1988), Chicago Blackhawks (1988-1990), Winnipeg Jets (1990-1994) and Washington Capitals (1994–2000). He played in the 1998 Stanley Cup Finals against Detroit Red Wings during his time with the Capitals.
Eagles won the Ontario Hockey League championships in 1982 and 1982, and the Memorial Cup in 1982 with the Kitchener Rangers.
