He won a gold medal in the 2009 Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy competition. He was a part of the match against Korea. He was awarded a gold medal in the 2010 World Cup, Delhi, India. He participated in the Azlan Shah Cup for Australia in May 2011. There were teams from Pakistan, Malaysia and South Korea as well as New Zealand, Britain, South Korea, South Korea, South Korea, South Korea, South Korea, and India. He was a part of all the semi-final and pool games for Australia, winning a gold medal at the 2011 Champions Trophy in New Zealand. He was one of the twenty-eight Australian players named to the 2012 Summer Olympics Australian men’s national training squad in December 2011. The squad will be reduced to eight players in June 2012. From 18 January to mid March, he trained with the team in Perth, Western Australia. He participated in a test series between four countries during training camp. The teams were the Kookaburras and Australia A Squad.
