From 1990 on, Panick created the group Razorhouse. Razorhouse released two EPs: the 2013’s Codex Jun along with Codex Du from 2015. Codex Du (co-produced with Howie Beno (Ministry, Black Asteroid) and Danny McGuinness (Ex Senators, Coven of Thieves)) Razorhouse includes Panick on guitar and vocals, Danny Shaffer on guitar, David Suycott (Robert Pollard, Stabbing Westward) on drums, Jim DeMonte (The Insiders) on bass, Tommi Zender on guitar and Dan Moulder on keyboards.

In 2019 Lydia Loveless accused Panick of sexual harassment over several years while she worked with Bloodshot Records and while he was the domestic partner of record label co-owner Nan Warshaw.

The year 1987 was when Panick started a new musical venture called Chac Mool which was formed along with the house music legend Dean Anderson. The band comprised members of The Revolting Cocks, KMFDM and Sister Machine Gun, recorded an album titled Sex Sells and came out under the name Xipetotec by Trax Records in 2011.

The year was 1981 when Panick was a co-founder of Bonemen of Barumba along with Tom Jonusaitis. The group went on to make two albums. The self-titled Bonemen of Barumba EP was described by Steve Albini as “Barbeque [sic] music from hell”. In 1983, the band dropped Driving the Bats Thru Jerusalem. It has been described by Trouser Press as “ballsy and primitive” by Trouser Press In 1985’s the group released an LP titled Icons that was released by an imprint based in Chicago and Philadelphia, Fever and distributed by the bigger independently-owned record label Enigma Records.

The Bonemen from the Barumba track Thick Promise was featured on the 1982 compilation cassette Sub Pop 7 and the tracks Barumba Intro and Government Money received airplay on BBC Radio One’s The John Peel Show on March 3 1983. The group also received positive reviews from The Los Angeles Reader, The Chicago Sun-Times as well as other publications.

Mark Panick co-wrote the song “King of the Hill” with Nicholas Tremulis and has been affiliated with the bands Judas Horse, Black Friar’s Social Club and the Tom Waits tribute act Divine Prophets of Vaudeville. (Citation Needed)
