Peszek was the composer of the theme song to the controversy-filled Polish film Z milosci in 2011, prior to she released her 3rd studio album Jezus Maria Peszek in the month of October, 2012. Before recording the album Peszek was suffering from a anxiety that was extensively discussed in Polish media and expressed in the lyrics of the album. It was an open critique of the organized religion, patriotism, and social standards, which led to additional controversy. The album was another huge hit, receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews, and debuting at the top of Polish charts, and ultimately being awarded platinum status. Peszek embarked on an extensive promotional tour. Peszek is a native of Wroclaw, Poland into a family of actors. She was an actor as a youngster in numerous theatre and television productions throughout the 1980s, Peszek officially began her career in a production to Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass in 1995 at the Juliusz Slowacki Theatre in Krakow and graduated from an acting academy the following year.

The album she released her debut record, called Miasto mania was released in the month of October by Kayax an independent label founded by Polish singer Kayah. The music on the album took inspiration from Poland’s capital city, Warsaw and served as the soundtrack to a multi-media theater play named Miasto mania, which was also performed simultaneously. The album was the inspiration behind the hit leading single “Moje miasto” and was an immediate commercial and critical success and eventually earned platinum status for the sale of more than 3000 copies. The year 2006 was the year that Peszek was awarded the Fryderyk award for “best new act” and released an extended version of Mania Siku that included live recordings and brand new songs.

Her fourth album, Karabin, was released in February 2016 and explored such topics as freedom, hatred and individualism. Although it did not match the critical success of its predecessors, it went gold in Poland in just over a month. To promote the album, Peszek performed concerts in Poland, Ireland, England and Czech Republic. In October 2017, Peszek released the single “Ophelia” recorded for her brother’s stage adaptation of Hamlet.
