He also intercepted Terrelle Perryor’s pass during the 24-7 win over the Oakland Raiders. Cooper began his fifth game of his rookie year on December 1, 2013. He recorded eight combined tackles, defended one pass, and intercepted Peyton Manning’s pass during a 35-28 loss against the Denver Broncos.

On May 10, 2013, the San Francisco 49ers signed Cooper to a four-year, $2.20 million contract with a signing bonus of $45,896.
