Dashaun Phillips (born 3rd January 1991) is an American football cornerback who plays for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL. He played his college football in the state of Tarleton State University, and joined the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2014.
The Jets released him and injured his player on September 1st in 2015. He was removed from the team’s injured reserve after a the settlement of September 5 in 2015.
On August 23, 2017, Phillips was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers for Lucas Crowley. He was waived on September 2, 2017, and was signed to the Steelers’ practice squad the next day. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Steelers on January 15, 2018.
On September 1, 2018, Phillips was released by the Steelers.
The Washington Redskins signed Phillips to their practice team on September 15 2015. Phillips was promoted into the team’s active roster the 27th of November to take over Chris Culliver, who was placed on the reserve team’s injured list. On the 3rd of January, 2016 it was reported that he had left the final contest of the regular season against Dallas Cowboys with a severe neck injury. He was escorted off and taken to the local medical facility, where there was a feeling in his parts of his body.
