- She is a Japanese professional wrestler. Katsu was trained by the JWP Joshi Puroresu promotion, and she made her debut in April 2011. Katsu won the Souseiseki Cup in December 2011 and the Princess of Pro-Wrestling Championships the following year. She held these titles for 482 days. Katsu has worked for Ice Ribbon and Oz Academy as well as Reina X World, World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, and Reina X World. Katsu retired in July 2014 from professional wrestling, but she returned in April 2016.
Katsu started working regularly with Kayoko Haruyama in late 2013. This replaced her longtime tag team partner Tsubasa Kuragaki, who had quit JWP to become an independent wrestler. Katsu won her fourth defense of the JWP Junior & Princess of Pro-Wrestling Championships, against Rydeen Hagane on December 15. Katsu and Haruyama were billed as “SpringVictory”, a play on their families names, “haru” being spring, and “katsu victory” being victory. They took part in the 2014 Tag League the Best. The team won their round-robin block with two wins and one draw and advanced to the finals. Katsu was injured in her left ankle training shortly after, and Haruyama had to withdraw from the final match. Katsu was able to recover from her injury on March 20, and she returned to action on March 20. Katsu was unable to defend the JWP Junior or Princess of Pro-Wrestling Championships for 482 days. She lost it to Sareee on April 20. Katsu announced her retirement from pro wrestling six days later. Her final match was on July 13. Katsu was defeated in her retirement match by Rabbit Miu on July 13.
Before the official launch of Command Bolshoi’s JWP follow-up promotion, Pure-J, on August 11, 2017, the former JWP roster, Katsu included, presented shows under the name “Pure-Dream Presents Dream Joshi Puroresu”. At Pure-J’s inaugural event on August 11, Katsu was defeated by freelancer Yumiko Hotta. At Pure-J year-ending Pure-J Climax 2017 event on December 17, Katsu unsuccessfully challenged Misaki Ohata for the Pro Wrestling Wave promotion’s top title, the Wave Single Championship.
On February 8, 2017, it was announced that JWP would be folding on April 2, after which all of its wrestlers, Katsu included, would become freelancers. At JWP’s final show, Katsu was defeated by Mayumi Ozaki.
Katsu pinched JWP Junior and Princess Pro-Wrestling Champion Rabbit Miu on November 4. She and Sareee then faced Miu, Nana Kawasa and other competitors in a tag-team match. Katsu pinned Miu again in a tag-team match on December 2. Kawasa and Miu faced Aki Shizuku (Otera Pro representative). Miu then agreed to defend her titles against Katsu. Veteran Ran Yu-Yu made her last JWP appearance on December 2nd and gave Katsu two of her signature moves, the leg lariat, and the Blockbuster to practice in the future. Katsu defeated Miu using the Blockbuster on December 24, at JWP’s annual year-end Climax, to become the new JWP Junior Champion and Princess of Pro-Wrestling Champions. She also won her first professional wrestling titles. Katsu began her 2013 by losing to Miu. She was pin in a tag-team match against Nana Kawasa and Miu on January 6. Katsu entered a tournament on January 13 in her attempt to win Arisa Nakajima, the new JWP Openweight Champion. Katsu defeated Nana Kawasa in her first match. Katsu defeated Morii in seven seconds in her second round match the next day. Leon then eliminated Katsu from the semifinals. Katsu was again pinched by Miu on January 27th in a four-way match that also featured Nana Kawasa, Rydeen Hagane and Rydeen Hagane. This result earned her a place in the Tag League the Best 2013 tournament. Katsu defeated Kawasa, Hagane and the rest of the three-way match immediately afterward to become Miu’s partner in the tournament. Katsu fought her first match in Taito on February 10. She teamed up with Arisa Nakajima for a main-event tag team match in Asakusa. They were defeated by Command Bolshoi, Kayoko Haruyama, and Kayoko Haruyama. Katsu and Miu lost to Sendai Sachiko and Dash Chisako in their first match on February 17th. They then finished their Tag League the Best tournament March 31st with wins over Kazuki Abe and Sachie Abe. However, they did not qualify for the finals. Katsu defeated Risa Sera, Ice Ribbon’s representative, to defend the JWP Junior and Princess of Pro-Wrestling Championships. Katsu defended her title against Sareee, World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana’s representative. Katsu continued her defense against outsiders by beating Eri Susa, World Wonder Ring Stardom representative, for her third title defense. Katsu was the first candidate to win the Openweight Championship back from Kana, an outsider. Katsu was denied a shot at the JWP’s top title, but Kana won her battle. Katsu participated in an eight-on-8 elimination match sponsored by Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling on October 17. She, Hikaru Shida and Kagetsu defeated Syuri, TakumiIroha and Yuhi. Toyota eliminated Katsu from the match.

Katsu started training professionally wrestling while still in high school in Tokyo. Katsu passed the traditional audition in front of her trainers, and was officially promoted to the main roster. She is the promotion’s first high school student. Katsu made her debut in JWP Openweight Champion Leon’s ring on March 21st 2011. She was defeated by Katsu in a five minute “exhibition match”. Katsu made her Korakuen Hall debut on April 3, 2011. She lost to Dash Chisako, Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling representative. Katsu entered the J-1 Grand Prix 2011 on April 17 and was defeated by masu me in her first round- robin match. Sachie Abe defeated Katsu in her second match at the tournament on May 22. Katsu was defeated again by masu-me on June 12 in a match to determine who is the number one contender for the JWP Junior or Princess of Pro-Wrestling Championships. Katsu won her first match when she, Ebessan, Kaori Yoneyama, and Gami, Kanjyuro Miatsuyama, defeated Kyusei Ninja Ranmaru and Kyusei Ninja Ranmaru. However, she didn’t take part in the end of the match. Katsu won her first pinfall on July 18 when she defeated Mika Iida, a freelancer in a singles match. Katsu entered the Natsu Onna Kettei Tournament on August 14 but was defeated in her first round match against Hikari Minami, Ice Ribbon representative. Katsu won her first match in the Souseiseki Cup/Blue Star Cup round-robin tournament. Katsu continued her winning streak by defeating Aoi Yamagami on October 10 and Lady Afrodita, a Mexican wrestler, on November 13. On November 13, she defeated masu-me. Katsu was also a debutant for Oz Academy on October 16th, when she faced Nao Komatsu. Katsu lost her first match against Nana Kawasa on December 16 but she still won her block and advanced to the finals. Katsu defeated Rabbit Miu on December 23 to win the 2011 Souseki Cup/Blue Star Cup tournament. Katsu was awarded JWP’s rookie award for the year on December 23. Katsu won the tournament and was granted a chance to compete in the JWP Junior and Princess of Pro-Wrestling Championships. Katsu and Moon Mizuki entered the 2012 Tag League the Best tournament on February 3. In their first match, the two were defeated by Command Bolshoi (and Rabbit Miu) Katsu and Mizuki lost their second match nine days later to the Jumonji Sisters (Dash Chisako, Sendai Sachiko). After the match, Mizuki suffered an injury that ended the team’s chances of winning the tournament. Katsu, who was participating in Ice Ribbon’s Teens Project, made her debut on March 3. Katsu, along with fellow JWP wrestlers Nana Kawasa, and Rabbit Miu, were defeated by Universal Woman’s Pro Wrestling Reina representative Aoi Shibashi, Sendai Girl’s Pro Wrestling representative Kagetsu, and Mika Iida. Tsukasa Yamamoto defeated Katsu seven days later in her Ice Ribbon main-card debut. Katsu made her World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana debut on March 27th, when she wrestled Sareee to a 15-minute time limit. Katsu and Arisa Nakajima formed a tag team in May. Katsu adopted a similar ring costume to Nakajima’s. After beating Leon and Rabbit Miu and Nana Kawasa, Tsubasa Kunagaki, and Nana Kawasa in separate tag team matches on May 5, Katsu and Nakajima were allowed a chance at the Daily Sports Women’s Tag Team Championships and JWP Tag Team Championships. However, they were defeated by Emi Sakura (defending champion) and Kaori Yamazaki (defending champion). Katsu and Nakajima also teamed up in Reina X World Promotion, losing to Zeuxis and La Malcriada in a main event June 24, and beating Micro and Puchi Tom on July 7.
On March 3, 2016, JWP announced that Katsu had rejoined the promotion on March 1 and would be wrestling her return match on April 3. On March 9, she wrestled Leon in a five-minute exhibition match, which ended in a draw. On April 3, Katsu was defeated by Rabbit Miu in her return match. Afterwards, Katsu and Miu came together to form a tag team named Ultimate☆Pureful. On July 17, Katsu unsuccessfully challenged Arisa Nakajima for the JWP Openweight Championship. On September 2, Katsu made her American debut, when she took part in Chikara’s 2016 King of Trios tournament, teaming with Command Bolshoi and Hanako Nakamori as Team JWP. They defeated the Snake Pit (Amasis, Argus and Ophidian) in their first round match. The following day, Team JWP defeated United Nations (Juan Francisco de Coronado, Prakash Sabar and The Proletariat Boar of Moldova) to advance to the semifinals of the tournament. On September 4, Team JWP advanced to the finals of the tournament following a disqualification win over Hallowicked, Icarus and Jigsaw. Later that same day, Team JWP was defeated in the all-Japanese finals of the tournament by Team Sendai Girls (Cassandra Miyagi, Dash Chisako and Meiko Satomura).
