M-Phazes was conceived on February 1, 1983. He attended Miami High School, Gold Coast, and lived in Burleigh heads, Queensland. His first rap group, Trace Elements, was also his first. It included Jake Dangerous and Tactic One as well as Syntax.

M-Phazes signed an agreement with Mushroom Records in 2010 and a record deal with Obese Records in 2011. He later released his debut album, ‘Good Gracious,’ which features Bliss, Eso, Illy, Phrase, and other Australian Hip- Hop musicians. Unexpectedly, his album, titled ‘Good Gracious’, won an ARIA Award as Best Urban Release. It beat Bliss n Eso’s ‘Running On Air’ which he produced four songs.

2013 saw M-Phazes sign a worldwide deal with Universal Music Publishing Group and land his first major placement with ‘Bad Guy’ which was the intro track on Eminem’s 8th album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

He also produced the 2014 song “Don’t Wanna Fall in Love” by singer/rapper KYLE.
