Brandin Adar Knight (born on December 16, 1981) is an American basketball coach and former player who serves as an assistant coach with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Brandin is the younger brother of Brevin Knight.

Knight completed his time at Pitt and holds record for the school’s lifetime assists (785) and average career assists (6.2 assists per game) and lifetime steals (298) seasons assists (251 during 2001/02) and season time spent (1,284 during 2001 and 2002). Knight’s jersey number 20 was removed from Pitt before the Marquette game on March 4, 2009.

Knight was the Director of Basketball Operations of the Pittsburgh men’s basketball team throughout the 2007-08 season . He became promoted on June of 2008 to assistant coach after his departure from Orlando Antigua to the University of Memphis Coaches’ staff.

In 2001-2002, Knight was named Big East Conference co-Player of the Year, Big East Most Improved Player and the First Team All-Big East and was also named as a member of the All-Big East Tournament team. Knight earned the status of Second Team All-Big East in 2002-2004. He was twice United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-Region selection (2001-02 and 2003-04) and an NABC/USBWA All-District Team selection in 2001-02. He was named the USBWA Region Player of the Year award in 2001-02.
