Liam Killeen is one of the most popular and richest Cyclo-Cross Cyclist who was born on April 12, 1982 in Malvern, United Kingdom. Liam Killeen, a British professional mountain biking athlete, was born 12 April 1982. He was the third-place finisher in cross-country racing at the Commonwealth Games 2002. He became Commonwealth Champion in 2006. He was the British Mountain Biking National Champion for five consecutive years: 2008, 2009 and 2010, 2011, and 2012. He represented Great Britain at the 2008 and 2008 Summer Olympics, and was selected as the only male cross-country rider in the British team for London Games 2012.

He was a competitor for the British team in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and was considered one the favorites for the gold medal. His handlebars collided with a race marker just 150m (490ft) into his race. He was flipped over the bars and off the bicycle. He finished in seventh place, chasing the rest. His gold medal from the 2010 Commonwealth Games was not defended by him as mountain biking was dropped and archery was added to the schedule. To participate in the Games, he considered switching to road racing.

He competed at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, finishing in 6th place.

He was back with the English team at 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. He had placed third in the previous Games and he did even better at this Games. His country won the gold medal. He was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome in 2007 and couldn’t compete for the entire season.
