Other Petigirard compositions are Le Fou d’Elsa, a cycle of six songs set to poems written by Louis Aragon for mezzo and orchestra, Le Plus Ardent a Vivre and a septet featuring the harp, Poeme for large string orchestra as well as Dialogue for orchestra and viola. Petitgirard’s second work, Guru, was released on the Naxos label in 2011 . Its the stage premiere took place on September 28, 2018, in an opera directed by Damian Cruden for Opera Na Zamku in Szczecin (Poland) and which was conducted by the composer. Numerous of his other work are available through the Naxos label and the composer conducts.

Petitgirard later recorded the work with the Naxos label along with The Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and with Nathalie Stutzmann playing the title role.
