Laura Rachel Stacey (born May 5 1994) is an ice hockey player with Markham Thunder that has competed with Team Canada. Canadian National Women’s Under 18 and Under 22 teams. She took home the silver medal for Team Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
She was a member of Team Ontario at the 2011 Canada Winter Games. In the entire 2011-2012 Canada ladies’ national hockey team’s season she was a part of the Canadian National Under 18 team which played in a 3-game series against. USA. US in August of 2011. Her goal came during the gold-medal game of the Canadian National Women’s Under-18 Championships for Team Ontario Red. In the first match in the 2012 IIHF World Women’s U18 Championship (contested on December 31st on the 31st of December, the 31st of December, 2011), Laura Stacey accumulated three points in a 13-1 win of Switzerland.
