Contributing to other publications, including The Guardian, Bates’ debut book Everyday Sexism was published by Simon & Schuster, the London division of Simon & Schuster in 2014. She has been contract to create two additional novels in the name of Simon & Schuster. She also contributes to the new York- based Women Under Siege Project.
