Justin Krueger is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Player who was born on October 6, 1986 in Düsseldorf, North Rhine- Westphalia, Germany. His grandparents’ paternal grandparents immigrated into Canada from Germany in 1952.

In 2004 Justin scored the number of points he scored in 2004 at 17 (five goals and twelve assists) in 38 games played for HC Davos in the Swiss Junior League. Krueger was transferred after one year of Davos in 2004 to North America and signed with the Penticton Vees of the BCHL. Following this season, Krueger was named the Top Athlete in Good Condition by Penticton Vees. He was then selected 7th in the round of 7, 213th overall from the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Justin was then invited to play for the NCAA team and joined with the Cornell Big Red as a freshman in the year 2006. In his final year during his time at Cornell (2009-10) Krueger was awarded the ECAC Hockey Defensive Defenseman of the Year.

Justin is the son of Buffalo Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger. In 2010, he achieved a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management at Cornell University.

Krueger played for the SC Bern team in the 2010–11 season, and began playing in North America within the Carolina Hurricanes’ farm system for the 2011–12 season. After two years in the American Hockey League, he returned to SC Bern on a two-year deal in May 2013 and in November 2014 had his contract extended through the 2017–18 season. He won the Swiss championship with SCB in 2016 and 2017.

Krueger got a place on the team that comprised Krueger was selected to the roster of German Under-18’s Men’s National Team in 2003 and was a part of Germany at the under-18 tournament in 2004 and the 2005 under-20 World Championships. In 2005 Krueger was the captain of the German team.

Justin Matthew Krueger (born 6 October 1986 in Dusseldorf, Germany) is an American-Canadian-German professional hockey player who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He was last with SC Bern of the National League (ice hockey) (NL) and also was a player in the Charlotte Checkers, the AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes. He was picked by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 7th round (213th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Krueger started his hockey career with Duisburger SV in Germany, where his father Ralph Krueger had his first coaching stint in 1989. After his father signed for VEU Feldkirch, the Austrian VEU Feldkirch club VEU Feldkirch in 1991, Justin continued his career with the Feldkirch youth team. He was then a part of in the HC Davos junior team, after his father was appointed director of coaching for the Swiss Men’s National Team.

He first tried out for the German Men’s National Team before the 2009 Deutschland Cup held in Munich, Germany, but did not play for that tournament. He was chosen to play for Team Germany for the first time in April 2010 and then participated in the 2010 IIHF World Championship in Germany. In October 2018, he retired from the German men’s national team. He received 99 caps during his international career, representing Team Germany at seven World Championships.
