Jorik Hendrickx (born 18 May 1992) is an Belgian former figure skater in competitive competition. He was an champion of the 2017 CS Nebelhorn Trophy winner as well as in 2016, the CS Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist and 3 times Coupe du Printemps champion (2012 2013, 2013 and 2016) and the 2017. International Challenge Cup champion, and triple-time Belgian nation champion (2010 and 2016, as well as 2017). He was a finalist in the section at 5 World Championships and two Winter Olympics which saw him finish 15th in 2014 and 14th in 2018. He finished in the top 10 in the five European Championships.

Jorik Hendrickx was born and raised in Turnhout, Belgium. He completed his studies in sports marketing and management in Johan Cruyff University in Tilburg. In the early part of 2017 he started an internship with Speedo in the field of an investigation project. In All Sport Benelux, his research focuses on the expansion of Belgian eCommerce. He has a younger sister named Loena has also been skating figure.

Hendricks won the 2017 Nebelhorn Trophy, and obtained an men’s singles entry for Belgium at the 2018 Winter Olympics at Pyeongchang, South Korea. He participated in the figure skating event at the Olympics with his sister Loena, who also represented Belgium at the ladies’ singles. After the Olympics, he skipped the 2018–19 figure skating season, and announced his retirement on 8 August 2019.

The ice rink in Turnhout’s shut down, Hendrickx decided to train in the temporary rink. He explained, “It’s extremely cold and the quality of the ice is not what it should be. The most important thing is that I didn’t have to change environment, my school, coaches, medical team.” He placed 4th at the 2017 European Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic. This was the highest finish for an Belgian skater since 2009.

Hendrickx began his training at the age of five and one-half. From the age of 10 He has been trained by Carine Herrygers. He started competing at the international junior level in the year 2007. He was absent for four months in 2008 because of a groin strain. He was the first to debut as a participant in the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in the fall of 2009.
