Jonathan Bernard Yoav Tasini (born on 18th October 1956) is an American political activist, strategist, organizer as well as a commentator and writer who focuses his efforts on issues of work and labor as well as the economy. The 11th of June, 2009 Tasini announced he was going to be challenging New York U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand in the Democratic primary for the 2010 U.S. Senate special election in New York. But, Tasini later decided to take on an office on the House of Representatives in 2010.
