Jonathan Bane (born September 4 1991) is an American football quarterback with the Jacksonville Sharks of the National Arena League (NAL). He played in the NCAA football tournament playing at Dakota Wesleyan. He was also an active member of Richmond Raiders, Bloomington Edge, Tampa Bay Storm, Colorado Crush, Bismarck Bucks and High Country Grizzlies.

Bane has been assigned to Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League (AFL) on February 22nd in 2016. Bane began the AFL debut on April 1st in 2016, when he faced the Orlando Predators in relief of the team’s captain Adam Kennedy, completing five of eight passes for 65 yards, with an interception and a touchdown. Bane made his first AFL debut on May 1st 2016 and completed 22 of his 38 attempts for 3 touchdowns and 281 yards in a 33-27 defeat in the playoffs to Jacksonville Sharks. On February 21, 2019, Bane signed with the Jacksonville Sharks.

Originally, Bane had signed with the High Country Grizzlies of the American Arena League (AAL) in October 2017. However, on December 5, 2017, he was announced as the inaugural player signing for the Maine Mammoths of the National Arena League (NAL).
