John Bostock is one of the most popular and richest English footballer who was born on January 15, 1992 in Camberwell, England, United Kingdom. John Joseph Bostock (born 15 January 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays in the midfield with Nottingham Forest on loan from Toulouse.
He made his debut with Crystal Palace at the age of 15. The year 2008 saw him joined Tottenham Hotspur for an initial PS700,000. He played just the four times for Tottenham and none of those included the Premier League, and spent the majority of his time with the club on loans with The Football League and with Toronto FC of Major League Soccer. He was let go and relocated to Belgium where he played for Royal Antwerp and OH Leuven. In the summer of 2016 He joined French team Lens which he played for at Lens for a couple of seasons.
On 6 August 2010, Bostock had joined newly relegated Hull City on a season- long loan. He scored with a 30-yard strike described as a “wonder goal” on his debut against Swansea on 7 August. On 31 December 2010, Tottenham Hotspur announced that Bostock had returned early from his largely unsuccessful loan spell at Hull City.
He returned on loan to Swindon on 30 August 2012 until January 2013. He made his first appearance 2 days later against Preston. He made his home debut on 5 September in the Football League Trophy against rivals Oxford United. Bostock returned to Tottenham on 7 January 2013.
The 30th May 2008 was the day that Tottenham Hotspur announced the signing of Bostock on their website. Crystal Palace later issued a statement, disproving the reports that claimed they had reached an agreement with Tottenham. Tottenham both Crystal Palace and Tottenham Crystal Palace entered negotiations over the transfer fee, but an agreement was not reached, resulting in the amount being determined by the tribunal. The 9th July tribunal ruled that Tottenham would be paying PS700,000 for Bostock and add- ons that could reach PS1.25m contingent on appearances, and another PS200,000 should Bostock be able to make his full international debut. A sell-on provision entitles Crystal Palace to 15% of any revenue Tottenham earns from the transfer of the Bostock contract. Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan declared that he was so dissatisfied by Bostock along with his stepfather that he planned to revoke and return his Selhurst Park season ticket for the season 2008/09, which they had previously purchased.

Bostock made his debut in the league on the 29th of October, 2007 aged fifteen years, 287 days. He was playing for 20 minutes in substitute mode in place of Ben Watson in a 2-0 defeat to Watford at Selhurst Park, making him Palace’s youngest player. Bostock also became the youngest Palace player to make his debut in playing in a match, aged 15 , 295 day on November 6, 2007 when they played Cardiff City at Ninian Park.
