Joelle Forte (born on July 5 1985) was an American figure skater from the United States. She has been five times North Atlantic Regional champion, the 2009 Eastern Sectional champion, and was a representative of her country in the United States at Skate America in October of 2011. Nebelhorn Trophy in September 2011 and Gradena Spring Trophy in May 2011.

Prior to the 2013-2014 competition season Joelle experienced a serious defeat in her training because of an injury to her right ankle, causing her to stay in hospital for about a week. She missed 3 months of training and skating, and began competing only in August at the close of the season. She was able to win the North Atlantic Regionals Championship and was awarded bronze at the Eastern Sectional Championship. She set the personal highest score at 52.86 for her short program at the Eastern Sectional Championship. She was able to compete in at the 2013 U.S. Prudential Figure Skating National Championships.

Forte skated at the age of four. She entered her first qualifying contest in 1996, aged 10. In 1996, she finished fourth at the level of juniors in the North Atlantic Regionals. Forte first participated in national competitions during the 1999-2000 season. In that time, she placed ninth at the National Championships at the novice level. She continued skating for nearly a decade after that and did not qualify for National Championships again for several years. Forte took a break from skating temporarily, not participating in the 2004-2005 season because of a an injury to her back that was chronic and returned following one year and a half absence, citing her continued passion to the game. She returned to Nationals in 2008-2009, at the time she was skating as a senior, which makes her the oldest female skater in the competition.

In the 2009-2010 season Forte planned to represent Azerbaijan but due to paperwork issues she was denied the chance to take part in the competition on behalf of Azerbaijan. She returned to in the United States. In the 2010-2011 season, Forte got her first international senior assignment, the Gardena Spring Trophy, and the following year she was selected as a representative for in the United States at Skate America in the very her first Grand Prix assignment of her career. While it’s not common for a skater to include new tricks to her repertoire so at this point in time, Forte added a triple-flip to her program, for the very first time in the 2010 Liberty Summer competition, and is currently working on adding triple toe loops and triple toe loop for the 2011-12 season of competition.
